Guillermo Pérez Villalta (Tarifa, Cádiz, 1948) opens at the Art Gallery Fernández-Braso his latest paintings, made between 2012 and 2014 in his studies of Seville and Tarifa. From a technical standpoint, this new group of works by Pérez Villalta is characterized by the desire to enhance a Mediterranean vision of the play through the use of light to the target and the use of a limited range of colors. At the same time, a number of constants remain in the works of this artist. The narrative and the Mannerist derived which are embedded in his paintings ̶ highly symbolic and intellectual ̶ load. The tendency to eclecticism. Hybridization of pictorial genres (still lifes and landscapes that seem to still lifes and portraits treated group).
